A few of my favorite things
One of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding is to get all the details of the day. The bride and groom spend so much time and care selecting all the little details to make their day special. I make sure I capture the details so they can remember everything for years to come. There are so many photographs that I like, I could do an album of all my favorite detail shots from weddings over the years. I love the way this reception is set up. So cheerful and smiling as though it is saying “Summer” with the white chairs with the lime green tablecloths, lemons, limes, and Gerber Daisies!I’ll try to remember to post more of the details in the future to share (you might get some ideas for your wedding).

Keego Goes to the Beach
This weekend Keego got his first sniff of the ocean. We headed over to the Carolina Beach area to camp for the weekend. He liked playing in the water and the waves. This is such a nice beach. This was also our first time going to Carolina Beach. Definitely going back!
Carrie & Isaac’s Wedding
Congratulations to Carrie & Isaac! They were married July 21, 2007 at The Matthews House in Cary, NC. They had their ceremony and reception at The Matthews House. Again, I LOVE this location! It was a lot of fun spending the day with them. A special thanks to Martha – you are great! So many favorites to choose from… here are a few.
Carrie’s Bridal Portraits
Carrie and her family have been so great to work with – so welcoming. Today we did her Bridal Portraits at The Matthews House in Cary, NC. I love this location! What an impressive house; and it is decorated so classically. We had a lot of fun exploring all the nooks and crannies of the house. Here are some of my fav pics.
Adventure on the Golf Cart
We visited Justin’s mom and dad over the weekend. It was nice to hang out at the Trondo with them. We took a ride on the golf carts to go get ice cream one night. Sam also wanted to go.
