A Day in the Life of Chloe

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Chloe playing, and just doing her normal day to day routine. I then created an album “A Day in the Life of Chloe” for her mom. A photograph of the album cover is below and a few of my favorite images from the album. She is soooo cute!

A Day in the Park with Jack

I love building relationships with the people I work with to be their photographer not just once, but throughout their life. I photographed Jennifer and Dan’s wedding on October 27, 2006 in Michigan. I was so happy to meet their son Jack and do some portraits of him with his mom and dad. We headed out to a park for Jack to explore and have some fun.

Talk Like a Michigander

Okay, so I found this funny website that lists off some of the slag or phrases that seem to be from Michigan. Some of these….I don’t know where they came from as they were not used where I grew up, but some are RIGHT ON. Pretty funny to have it all listed out. I always find these type of regional language differences very intriguing so I wanted to share.

I have been caught using the following…. The Bridge, Dethaw, Doorwall, Glovebox, A Good One, The Joe, Michigan Left, Party Store, The Ren Cen, The Thumb, The U.P., you guys, and my all time favorite “Up North”.  Oh and I love Euchre (pronounced U-ker).  If you have no idea what I am talking about, check out this site for details.  Spread the word, it’s a fun game!  :-)
