North Carolina 4-H Photography Competition
I am excited to be one of the judges for the upcoming North Carolina 4-H State Photography Competition. The competition is being held this Friday at the Hunt Complex. The entries are from youth involved in the 4-H organization. I can’t wait to see all of the photographs that have been entered into the competition. Good luck to all the entrants!

We moved to Raleigh!
Can you believe how fast May is flying by? I wanted to make sure everyone knew that Forever Young Photography LLC is now in a new location in Raleigh not far from Umstead Park. Jingle Ball Sponsor, December 11, 2008
I am happy to announce that Forever Young Photography LLC will be a sponsor of the Jingle Ball taking place December 11, 2008. This is a great event! Forever Young Photography LLC was a sponsor of the event last year and are looking forward to it this year as well.
Gifts are considered as your ticket for this event. Each participant will be granted entrance to the 2008 15th Annual Jingle Ball by bringing a new unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more or donating $30 cash or check with all proceeds going directly to the Salvation Army of Wake County. National Volunteer Week
It is always a surprise when you get recognized for your volunteer work. I received a certificate today for my volunteer efforts and commitment to the community for the photography work I have done for the Holly Springs Cultural Center. Bass Lake Bridal Show
Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth at the Bass Lake Bridal Show yesterday. Though it was cold and rainy, many brides overcame the weather and got a good head start on their wedding planning. Justin and I had a great time! It is always nice to meet new couples and hear about their wedding plans.
At the Bridal Show, we donated a free Bridal Portrait Session as a door prize to one lucky bride. We also have our annual Free Wedding Photography Giveaway. Good luck to all the couples that entered! Bass Lake Bridal Show Tomorrow
It is hard to believe that the Bass Lake Bridal Show is tomorrow. Man, March really flew by! Can you believe it is almost April? Wow! If you have time and want to get some ideas for your wedding, stop on by the bridal show. It is March 30th from 1-4. Bring your scarf because it is going to be a cold one tomorrow - not very Spring like. But hey, walking around will keep you warm. 
Where else are you going to get a chance to meet with a lot of cool vendors and get tons of ideas - WITHOUT being overwhelmed with 100s of booths - row after row. Come relax, enjoy the view. This show is quaint and intimate; jam packed with great vendors and ideas. Hope to see you there!

Holly Springs Parks & Recreation quarterly publication - Hurrahs! is a great source to find out about different programs, classes, activities and more happening in the area. One of my photographs from a recent play at the Holly Springs Cultural Center has been selected as the cover image. Here is a sneak preview of the cover below. Look for the new Hurrah’s coming out in April.
