Lauren’s Bridal Portraits
I wanted to share with you some of Lauren’s Bridal Portrait photographs from her recent session in Raleigh, NC. We headed to two meaningful locations to Lauren – Peace College {where she is attending school} and Pullen Park {where she works for a summer camp program}. Lauren looked great and we lucked out with a nice day. I can’t wait for her wedding just about a week away!
Lauren choose the color version of this image for a Wrapped Canvas.

Here is another image that Lauren choose for a Wrapped Canvas.

Are you friends or family of Lauren? If so, here is a link to her website. Enjoy!

Duke Gardens with Kristi and Christian
I am excited to share some photographs from the portrait session of Kristi and Christian. This is Kristi and Christian’s first official portrait session and I am so happy that I was able to do it for them. We headed to Duke gardens and were blessed with a nice, not so humid day to play around the gardens.
Are you friends or family of Kristi & Christian? If so, here is a link to their website to see all their images from the session. Enjoy!

“Attending” Virtual Photography Trade Show
It is always great to learn new things. I feel it is important to keep growing and challenging yourself. I just registered for an online photography trade show which fits in line with my environmental action plan that I recently discussed on my blog. No traveling required, the tradeshow is brought to you all online – presentations, classes, exhibits, networking all done from your compuer. If you are a professional photographer and would like to sign up for the tradeshow, here’s the link.

Corporate Headshot Samples
Good news! I added a Corporate Headshot Sample Gallery to my portfolio. You can check it out here. As a note, I love doing a loose style of corporate headshots with more content in the background. It makes the headshots much more dynamic.
However, your goals and planned uses of the headshots should really dictate the look to appeal to your target market. Everyone has their own goal for the look and feel of the headshots, and I always talk with my clients first so we can both have a clear result in mind. For example, the clean and neutral backgrounds are great for websites. Then if the company’s website changes in color scheme, etc., your photographs will still work for you. Want more tips? Email me and we can chat about your corporate headshot session.

Ode to Umstead
Before we headed on the road to CA, we had to go to to Umstead Park one more time with Keego. I am going to miss this park. So here is our family portrait at Umstead.

Settling in with good news!
Well we made it! Yeah! Finally all moved into our new place and I’m ready to get ramped up for 2009. It is safe now to send anything to my new address in Burlingame. If you misplaced my new address, just email me and I can send it to ya.
I also have good news to report, Forever Young Photography has been selected for Weddingwire’s Bride’s Choice Awards 2009!!! Thanks everyone who submitted their recommendations for Forever Young Photography!!!
The Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds (brides and grooms) through surveys and reviews. Our winning vendors have set the bar high for this competition, demonstrating excellent service and expertise in their industry.
Thanks again to all my great clients. It has been a pleasure working with you. I have been blessed to be connected with so many great couples!
